2008 Holiday Rambler Vacationer XL, Cummings 340, Onan 6000. Gen runs fine sitting still and low speeds. Shuts down at highway speeds. Seems like when engine demands more fuel the gen is starved for fuel and shuts down. Any ideas.

How old is the fuel filter?? Crimped fuel line? Is this a diesel engine or gas engine? If gas, maybe a failing spark ignition module that provides little to no spark advance under increased engine load.

FYI on many fuel tank must have at least 1/4 tank or generator will shutdown
