Hi all,

Quick question. Looking to see where folks get their air filter, fuel filters and oil filters (etc.) for your generator. I know you can go to Amazon and even Walmart (online), but often those parts are non Onan. Some say they don’t always fit right or you wonder about their quality.

You can buy Onan branded parts, but they are often two to five times the cost. For example, my Onan air filter would be around $50. Seems excessive…

What does everyone do?
Just wondering.
Thanks
Rich

I used to get them from Cummins but now I’m just letting FCCC do the services at annual visits and not worry about it.

I get spares when I have the chassis maintenance done. If generator is due I have them use the spares and replace my extras - in case I need them while in the road.

Ok. Thanks. I tend to do my own maintenance on the genny…as oil changes, air filters and antifreeze changes are not that bad to do.

I guess it looks like you just get the parts from freightliner.
