The adventurers we take with our RVs are great and fun to remember . As the days get shorter and the years go zipping buy we sometimes try to bring back the past.

For many years my wife and I traveled the country with friends not in RVs but on bikes. Harley Davidsons to be exact. My wife had her own and was a great and skilled rider. We sold out bikes about 10 years ago. But the past few years I have had the hankering of just a few more rides. After my open heart surgery, two knee replacements, one hip replacement and major back surgery I am still in one piece. That pull was still there calling me to get back in the wind.

Well you might have guessed I picked up this nice 2006 FXST with just 17 K mikes on it. I started on a Softail and I will end it on a Softail. Yes the bike is 19 years old. So far I put about 200 mikes on her. And man it feels great. laughing out loud....... look see.

Enjoy the wind and stay safe out there.

We both had our own for years and have many many miles with friends in the wind.

The closer we got to retirement, the less we wanted to take the chance. Sold our screaming eagle ultra a few years ago after one last trip.

Kept our license stamps so we may rent once in a while.

It's in impeccable condition, best of luck with it.

Hey Dennis: I truly understand. I thought about renting one but, there is really no place near by for me to do it. My son-in law has one of my last bikes it is a 2003 Deuce 100 year anniversary, but he wouldn't part with it. LOL

So I figured I survived all my surgeries, what the hell one last ride.
