Earlier this year we lost our two dachshunds Sissy and Sammy. They were both 16 years old and both passed with-in a week of each other.

Im still not over them. I miss those wagging tails, sweet faces and happy little dances when I came home.

Two months ago we found a 2 year old female named Dixie. The elderly owner passed and her kids didnt want her. I brought her home and renamed her Lucy.

Lucy needed a playmate and last month we ran across a 1 year old female named Carl. Her owners have four young boys and they couldnt handle something else to care for. We brought her home and added a y to her name.

So Lucy and Carly will be our new travel companions.

I'm sorry for your loss. Many of us know that pain. Congrats on giving dogs much needed love in their new homes.

Hi Lucy and Carly!

Sorry for your loss. Looks like you have found some great pups to fill the void.
