Thought about a long weekend near home. Looked at our go to RV Park and rates had gone from $35.00 to $50.00 recently. WOW

Plan B park a little further down the road, yep they went from $40.00 to $50.00 nightly. RVing is getting a lot more expensive it seems.

Supply and demand my friend, supply and demand.

Wouldn’t it be nice if increasing profits led to more campgrounds?

I think it will, at least for a few years. With the virus and everyone buying RV's, they'll be some good times ahead for the campgrounds/RV parks. Hopefully the new RV'ers will like the hobby and continue with it. But... if they don't, the campgrounds / RV parks will be scrambling to keep a full park, which of course will lead to lower prices. Probably a win/win for the RV'er.

Enjoy some Harvest Hosts overnights. They are a gem as they can be really off the beaten path with nice scenery, wine, etc.

The good thing is, RVing is not for everybody. Many will try it and not like it, for sure. Many will.
