Do you use one of the “pocket” style expanding hoses for fresh water? I’ve always used the old fashion white, stiff hoses but would love to save the room they take up.

I found them to be more gimmick than useful.
They fold up small. The downsides are greater than that one benefit. The big one for me was the increased friction loss. You lose a lot of pressure. even with a full open faucet there is only a dribble at the end.

I have one I picked up somewhere but I don't quite trust it. I use it more at home but it goes in the RV too. Though lightly used I have to admit it has performed quite well and it is about five years old now.
I use a Zero G normally. I like how it folds up for storage. Takes right about the same room as the pocket hose actually. Somewhere I picked up an off-brand copy of a Zero G too. Last trip out it decided to rupture. I was kind of non-plussed that the very newest of my hoses split. The genuine Zero G is about three years old now and is my favorite..
Just my little anecdotal experience. I've heard of others having leak issues with their Zero G's.

Mine broke. Outside material tore on the first use. Have used the zero gravity hose on a few occasions with no problem.

Another for zero g hoses. Drinking water safe and we have been using one for about 5 years with no issues.

Had the expanding / shrinking ones at the house a couple times and they lasted a year before exploding water everywhere - more gimmick than functional.

As with the others here I don't like them.
May I suggest a hanging shelf for your hose where it will not clutter your storage space.

I've used them over the years but wouldn't trust one for full time water delivery to the rig. I'd be concerned with a burst. For washing the rig or toad they work great.
The original Zero G hoses worked great but one burst while washing. Bought another set, they changed it and they sucked. Don't recall the brand I have now but they do take more room up. The 2 sets are stored in a 5 gal bucket
