@sheridany the best way to get your high performance in motion dish dialed in is to move it around while your wife runs speed tests. You should hold it above your head and run in 10 circles one way, then run 10 the opposite way. It's best to diagnose issues by having this setup procedure videoed so maybe setup a phone with the video recording and then we can help you dial it in even further once reviewing the video. We are here to help!

I got a better way. Hang on!

I completed this mod today to install the 12V PoE injector for my Starlink Gen3 into my shore power bay. My prior Starlink cable was routed through this bay to the WiFi controller so I figured I'd use the same bay as it has the grommet to make passing the starlink cable out the basement simple.

I had an open spade in the 12V panel behind the cord reel so I ran a power lead (red) to a spade. I wasn't sure what size fuse to use but based on the 150W power spec and then using 12V the math comes out to 12.5A so I chose a 10A fuse. Now reading the Amazon page for the product and the specs it appears 15A is the correct fuse size to use so I'll change that next time at the coach.

I also used a rocker switch inline so I can easily turn on/off the power to this PoE injector so I'm not using power for this device when I'm not using Starlink which will be the majority of the time as cellular is my primary.

Easy install and will keep things simpler as I don't need the Starlink Wi-Fi as this is routed to my Pepwave's WAN port via the ethernet cable I ran down the half bath to the basement which wasn't hard.

Parts used:

PoE injector for Starlink Gen3

Rocker Switch

I designed and 3D printed the rocker switch mount.
