Unfortunately, I don’t have the new built-in 220v pressure washer unit that some new coaches have. But, my system really does a nice job for those “post-trip” bug washes. I have a nice setup of quick-connects that makes this operation so fast and easy. The little pressure washer was from Lowes, for $70, and does a fine job and uses only 1.2gpm which…guess what?…makes the DI TANK do its job even better! If ya don’t know…DI Tanks can’t handle large volumes of water, so using a low gpm PW is the magic ticket to success! I hit the big chunks, then squirt the front end with Bugs’n ALL, which is an enzyme that breaks the bug-guts down. A little massaging with my AERO Cosmetics Bug Pad and then rinse off. I tried doing this by “hand” yesterday, and then with this system today, and can tell you that this was a HUGE time-saver
, PLUS it did a better job!! This is my go-to setup for those “bump & runs” overnighters.
