One thing we don't realize or think about is how much lumber is actually in our motorized "homes". If you think about it, and assuming the lumber crisis is part of this price increase, there is a lot of wood in a motorhome, particularly a Newmar as I don't know how others are constructed. There is a large thick slab of wood that separates the house from the chassis. The basement floors and walls are all plywood. Then there is the cabinetry.

Given the rise in prices for everything, 2% increase seems very low. My guess is they are getting most of the margin by not discounting the list price 20 to 25 percent as they have in the past.

You missed the price increase for the model year which is near 10% in some models. This is already yet another price increase after the 2022 model year increases.

The supply chain is so screwed up these price increases will just keep coming. COVID is still impacting productivity all over the world, so this will not end soon.

Rubber is reported to be the next "chip" problem. The world is running out of rubber.
