Need some help or advice on how to prime the pump on my 2011 Roadtrek Ideal.........filled the water tank, works great on city water but pump not priming.

Diaphragm pumps are self priming. Look for kinks or leaks on the suction side.

As stated, it should self-prime. Until you replace the pump consider creating a suction to draw water into the pump. For example, close all faucets except kitchen sink. Use a baggie and a rubber band to cover the faucet spigot. Open only the faucet's cold water and with the pump ON suck hard on the sprayer with handle depressed. And consider having someone standing behind you should you pass out. Alternatively, next day shipping.

Also make sure that you aren't on winterize bypass, I know on my coach the city water works when the water tank is bypassed. Follow the pump lines to the tank and look for valves. Handle inline with line should be open.
