Propane/240 Electric water heater help needed 2022 Nexus Ghost

I have a 2022 Nexus Ghost I moved into full time yesterday. I cannot get my hot water heater to function on either propane (gas on on tank, switch to propane mode on panel above the sink) or in electric mode (switch on above sink). On the water heater panel on the outside I have it set to "on" comfort. I also tried "eco" on.
I'm the third owner. I'm not sure if it's ever worked. When I bought it and drove it out to WA state, the dealer I bought it from told me it didn't work and they paid a local RV shop to replace the element. That didn't work. They also found the feed line was totally kinked under the sink.
I've called Nexus several times and haven't receive any calls back.
I have a Mobile Repair guy look at it yesterday and he was stumped.
Any suggestions?

Third owner of a 5-year-old rig. That did not raise a warning flag? Are you sure that the unit is getting proper battery voltage? Needed for both AC and Propane operation. If power good and both not working one of the safeties have tripped and it is disabled. Do you have the manual? Link above. Try to locate a Truma service center or a person the really knows these units. They are just a bit complicated.

The most common cause of no light / poor lighting of propane fueled devices that were not kept continuously supplied with gas pressure in my experience was leftover atmospheric air trapped in the supply line.

For simple press and hold startup controls, you can keep pressing until you begin to detect the smrll of. The gas odorant, but automatic controls will time out long before trapped air gets out. You have to repeat, "burping" the small amount of line volume that the safety timeout interval lets through during each failed start cycle...

A friend trying to get his home generator to start on it's City Natural Gas connection had not purged his new 15 foot supply hose, and the generator's safety timeout had him stumped. No gas odor when I arrived meant no fuel had yet made it to the machine. We pushed the poppet in on the end of his hose fitting and let if hiss until good and stinky there, then connected the hose to the machine and got it running.

So, if you are handy with tools and have access to the gas supply fitting right at the water heater, observe the precautions for gas ignition hazards, use non sparking tools, and crack the tube fitting to get it stinking, which if left purging for a while will get all of the trapped air out. Then tighten it back up, verify no leak there, let things air out (remember that gas is heavier than air) and then do your instruction-specified startup. If it lights off normally, you were able to skip some trouble shooting steps.

If no light, the info below may be what yiu got:
- If no light with gas present and air purged out a while ago sniff the burner duct.
- If no stink, the heater is not opening the gas valve during start.
- If stinking, listen for ignitor "snapping", because no snapping sound is no light.

Be careful not to expose youself to a "boof!" if it does light off while you work through the steps.

If the line has the air purged out but no flow though the valve or no snapping in the start sequence, you have a malfunction present in the controls, as others here have suggested useful troubleshooting steps for.
