Good evening,
My 2018 Carbon 347 propane regulator had a manual switch over from one tank to the other. I swapped it for a automatic switch over regulator and now the furnace exhaust fumes really stink. I can find no info as far as inches of water column. I feel this is dangerous. I can put the original one back on but really want the automatic. Tanks always run empty after bedtime. Thanks, Dennis

Sounds to me like the new regulator is set too high in pressure. Is the new one adjustable?

This might help.

Personally I like to run one tank at a time. That way I know when I need to refill the empty tank. I have gauges on both tanks and check them regularly. When I’m getting very low on one tank, I switch to the other and immediately refill.
