Proposed Business Viability Question - RV Storage and Concierge Services

Hello- I am considering opening a Naples/Ft.Myers based business to service the motorhome community and am seeking input and comment on my idea from RV owners. My business model in brief is to provide full concierge service to this community. My Company would /could pickup and/or deliver your fully prepared motorhome to your exact standards which would include stocking of food and beverage, servicing the unit, checking all systems, fluid checks and either delivery to the location of your choice or pickup at our RV storage site that will be under roof and with electrical plug in. We would also offer pickup after your trip, with complete cleaning, repairs if needed (some repairs outsourced) but overseen by us and storage of the unit. Pricing would consist of a base storage fee with a menu of pricing based on your needs and expectations. The idea is drop and go, allowing you the RV owners to enjoy what is good and leave the rest to us.

Seems like an interesting idea. However, most RV owners seem to be DIY types so I'm not sure if the interest would be there. I suspect anyone who could afford this service and was interested in it would probably just be the type to fly to all inclusive resorts instead of camping. But I could be wrong as I'm not really in touch with the class A community.

There is private campground on the Russian River in Duncan Mills, Ca called Casini Ranch that offers a service like this, but only within their campground. The will set up your RV prior to your arrival and put it back in storage when you leave. Not sure about the other higher level services you listed, but there is a market for folks who want to use their RV but either dont have the time or the ability to move it easily. There are also provisioning services for charter boats, so maybe there is a niche for combining these ideas.

I have looked into building a storage business. You should check out luxtor in Indio, ca. They are on phase 3 of their build out and expanding geographically. There’s no delivery or pickup but they offer full service. There’s a lot of potential liability issues with having a delivery and pickup option.
