My wife and I bought some property in Eastern Arizona. Our plan is to leave our travel trailer there. We will be there every few weeks. It does get below freezing during the night. I was wondering if blowing out the lines was enough or do we need to go through the whole winterizing/dewinterizing process every time we go there.

I'm assuming we probably have to, but I was wondering if anyone else in a similar situation has gotten away from having to do the complete process.

On a related note, In the de winterizing videos I watched, they do a sanitization process as well as flushing out the anti freeze. I'm assuming this is because it has been sitting there for several months. If I am winterizing/dewinterizing every few weeks, do I have to sanitize as well?

I never sanitize but I also don't drink the water. I do my best to maintain clean tanks.

?offgrid? Private well? No well? Electric? No Electric?

I may have an answer for you. Publication removes patent options, but then maybe that is not that important.
