So it is a Standard WFCO 55 amp convertor. It is built into the distribution box. It is a standard 3 level charger. It will not charge lithium fully. This point is battled about back and forth in many forums. It will not hurt your battery, and if you have solar, or a small dedicated lithium charger, you can leave it in place and just add to the system. Your truck does not use a large line in the 7 pin connector and the size of the wire limits charging capacity. With Lithium, it pulls a heavy charge and can burn up an alternator, IF heavy wire is installed and IF you have about 200ah or more of battery(ies) in place. DC-DC chargers are used in high amp hour loads and much heavier wire. Using a 100AH battery is fine. Its still much better as you get to use much more of the capacity of the battery. And you don't need to upgrade much.
