someone posted one in our local app wanting to know if anyone knew someone who could wash his 40 foot motorhome. He had lots of people chirping that they would wash it ....who had obviously never washed a 40 foot motorhome. I gave him the name and phone number of the people who have done ours for many years, who specialize in Rvs. Not cheap, but they do great work. Actually, still the cheapest we've found even when traveling.
The asker barely acknowledged my recommendation.
My question is: wouldn't he want someone who is sensitive to the finishes on motorhomes?

If you're talking about NextDoor, you could post an ad looking for a physicist to assemble a nuclear weapon in your garage and the same 10 or 12 hustlers who answer every ad on the app would send a text.
I wouldn't allow anyone on that app in 100' of anything I own.

There are people who put brand new cars through car washes sooo...

When it comes to having to pay more to get a good job done some folks just HAVE to learn the hard way. I'm sure they are stuck focusing on the lowball prices they are getting.
