Hi all, I have a 2021 Baystar and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove the simulated wheel cover off of my rear duals. I need to get them off so I can put on some inside dual valve extensions. Anyone know how to accomplish this task?

Two of the fake lug nuts arent exactly fake. Take a look and you’ll see two of them look a bit different. Theres a t-handle tool with a hex socket on the other end for this that should have come with your coach. They may be tight but they have standard righty-tighty-lefty-loosy threads.

Thanks Rich W, I have identified the 2 nuts but I did not get one of these Tee handled tools with the coach. Will go back to the dealers to see if they have an extra one. This has been a struggle for sure, thanks again and have a great summer.

If you can't locate the tool, a deep socket (size 1 7/16") [I think ?] will do the trick 😉

sometimes they are too tight for the t-handle tool to work anyway so your best bet is to just use real tools. Measure the nut and go get a socket and breaker bar.

Socket works best with long handle ratchet or torque wrench. Coach supplied one are usually junk

So the simulated cover story gets better. Went to the dealership today and found out that the simulated cover is not an Alcoa product, but was made by Dicor. Last year they decided they didn't want to make these anymore. So no tools are available anywhere. Socket here I come.

better off that way. 1/2” drive, whatever size socket, a long enough extension and a breaker bar. Home Depot quality (Canada Tire?) will be fine. Dont need to spend extra $ on a ratchet or torque wrench - you're just breaking them loose and then snugging them back down.
