We left on a trip two weeks ago. Ran the FWS in and out a couple of times moving the coach from the shop to the house to get ready to go. All good. We weren't on the road long and the DW went to get something out of the fridge. The fridge was off. The breaker was tripped. Tried to reset the breaker and it wouldn't stay on. We left the breaker off and went on to our first night stop. We opened the coach up, turned on the fridge breaker, and it worked. Closed the coach up and it tripped the breaker again. Turned the breaker off and the inverter worked for everything else while driving. We got to the destination and opened the coach up and turned the breaker on and it worked. Had a good week and started home. We just turned the breaker off coming home. Got it in the shop and started investigating. The line going out in the slide to the fridge had fallen out of the scissor arm and was getting pinched when the slide closed. I repaired the line and taped it up good and secured it in the scissor arm. All good now.

Just think of the money you saved! Well done!

Glad you diagnosed and repaired the issue so easily. Those things can certainly be head scratchers...and very frustrating.

Neal, I tried to title the post so if someone else had similar symptoms it would draw them to it. If anybody has a better idea let's retitle it so it is easy to find. As much as I like Jim's adventure tales, solutions to problems are the best thing about the forum.

I updated it. See what you think. Titles are important so Google search etc picks it up for others with problems.

works for me. Other people's knowledge makes me smarter.
