I think the days are done for me for SAT TV. I removed the interior components a year ago and am very pleased with getting that unused stuff out of the coach and decluttering. Now I'm contemplating removing the SAT dish off the roof. That space could be used someday for another solar panel or probably better, a permanent starlink antenna.

How many have or are contemplating removing their SAT components and dish from their RV?

I’m not, but I also don’t use it. I have both in motion and the stationary dish, and figured resale may want it.

I will not be getting satellite on my next order.

We did not get a sat dish on the DutchStar. Never used the one on the CanyonStar.
Plan on using the space for a Starlink satellite receiver one of these days.

I pulled mine to make room for solar. I left the mount plate so I wouldn’t disturb the roof seal. It’s pretty low profile but as I recall I had to trim a high point or two with a saws all. Back then there was still a market for the stuff and I sold the dish, receiver, and power supply. Also removed the OTA antenna.

We bought our first RV (MADP) 7 years ago. Ordered it with DirecTV dish, but we don't watch much TV and when we do, its usually Netflix. We also pulled the inside equipment out a few years ago and have left the dish on the roof. At this time I see no reason to remove it. We don't boondock enough to need solar (45' is a bit too big to boondock much). I have Starlink Gen2 that I pull out when T-Mobile Home Internet doesn't get a signal, but no plan to permanently mount on roof. So for now I have no need to reuse the roof space.
