Replace Floor Tiles

Have a 2016 Ventana LE. PO did not use any roller floor protection under FWS and I have 3 areas affecting about 6 tiles I'd like to replace.

Newmar has replacement tiles in stock to match my floor. They say they are glued down with normal vinyl linoleum adhesive.

The grout lines are incorporated (designed) into each tile so it looks like a rather easy fix.

My question.....has anyone replaced tile(s) like mine? Any tips?

Sure don't want to remove one and find their is a glitch I was not aware of.

Our flooring tore in our Georgetown and Color Creations came to our house and cut out the tear matching our pattern exactly. Grout line and all. Highly recommend them. We are in Oklahoma.

Mine is doing that with the floor protectors.

Assuming that is LVT, there’s not much to it other than pulling firmly and slowly. It helps to use a razor blade and cut through the tile(s) to be removed at the edges so that when you pull, it doesn’t take adjacent tiles with it.

Next, grab a scraper and remove any glue left on the subfloor.

Give it the subfloor a quick hand sand with a low grit sandpaper to scuff it up.

Vacuum.

Dry fit.

Glue

Weigh tile down evenly until cure time has elapsed.

Refill grout as needed.

If you have a reciprocating Fein blade saw that helps cut the adhesive under the tile.
Get rid of the excess glue so the new tile lays flat.
