I looked up Sylvania bulb configuration for an OEM Dodge Nitro...the reflector type we had stock is an H13 in both High and Low beam positions.
Yes my ‘16 Ventana had H13’s but the Sylvania bulbs were crap. Went to M4 products and got their H13 LED kit and was thoroughly satisfied.

So...probably 3/4 of my issue was lens oxidation and yellowing. So, I tried one of those refurbishment kits that make acetone vapor. Way better lens clarity...and if the headlights aren't ON...they look great. With headlights ON there are stress micro cracks that appear...so, eventually --- I'll buy new housings.

Then I added H13 LED replacement bulbs. The difference is amazing. I cannot believe I went 9 years without doing this.

photos:

1) Original fogged housing.
2) Refurbished housing.
3) Refurbished w/original Halogen.
4) Refurbished w/ LED replacement bulb.

The last two photos don't do it justice...my camera was above the light pattern. If I squat down to the beam pattern...WOW!! Good to know I won't blind anyone...except go-cart drivers.
