I have a Jayco Northpoint 387RDFS. My batteries are TOTALLY dead. Won’t hold charge at all. I have 6 batteries and need to know if I can change to a 2 battery system. For cost or do I need to stay with 6 batteries??? Original batteries, and I can’t even hook it up as the landing gear and the levelers won’t work of course. Please help. Thanks

Don’think you will like only two batteries.

So I don’t boondock and plan to just place it back on a lake with shore power all the time. All I need is to be able to hook it up. Any more info????

I would imagineyou could use only two batteries - two 6v in series or two 12 in parallel. But what if the power at the pole goes out for more than a few hours? Will you have enough energy to keep everything running that needs to be?

You would have to know how much power you need to run everything, or what you want running when shore power goes out.

You could replace those 6 lead acid or agm batteries with 2 high output LifePo but you would need a different charger. Worth it in the long run.
