When I am on the road, I like to make things as easy as possible, so here is how I just hooked up my black tank backwash. My main goal was being able to do it without hooking up a separate hose. Most of the time it is in the "unconnected" position so there is an airgap. It is only connected when I use it. And no real plumbing changes ... I just connected it to the outdoor shower with a few fittings and valves.

The silverware drawer in our new coach came with some dividers in it ... but we added some additional ones in the spoon/fork/knife slots to keep them better separated. I made the new dividers a little shorter than the factory ones to make picking up the silverware easier. Here is a before and after picture.

I have heard some folks are having issues getting the half bath door closed from the inside ... so here is how I solved it on my coach. I think the latch is not the best design because if you pull the handle up from the inside to pull the door back it’s actually releasing the latch instead of letting it drop into place as it’s kind of a magnetic thing. I just got a small handle (Lowes for $0.99) and mounted it above the door latch so I can grab that and pull it closed. From the outside it’s not a problem because you just push on it. I have not had issues with the door staying closed once it’s closed. Maybe Newmar will come up with a better latch on the 2023 models.

This is the BEST phone mount I've ever used - it's lasted through 2 hot Texas summers with a black interior car. We like them so much that we installed one in ever car, and 2 in our coach. They look like they came with the vehicle, and are super simple to use. Makes it easy to keep track of our phones.

Also, I put cases with built-in magnes and rings on our phones. You can slide the discs inside your existing case, but this case works best for us (either the colors fade, or they're not as bright as the photo).

I like to hook up to city water with a “Y” connector for a couple of reasons. Easy access to water for rinsing stuff & for releasing pressure before unhooking. However, the “Y” is sometimes a pain to get attached to the hose bib which can be in a wierd position. I found that attaching the male end of a quick disconnect to the bib is super easy to get on & leak free. I was concerned that using a quick disconnect I would forget the male end when leaving. But, since I have a plastic threaded cap for the water line the male has to be reinstalled to the female so the screw cap will work for storage.
An added benefit of this arrangement is that you can quickly disconnect & reconnect the water line on those nights where it’s below freezing outside.

I know, I know, I need to update my phone

How about a remote switch connected to the wall switch to raise and lower the TV. The switch on my coach is all the way over by the TV. It would be nice to have it by chair so I don't have to get my fat ass up.

how us the “fat ass” mod!

The problem is you won't be able to get the bottom magnets where they need to be. Imagine the material designed for the shape of your windshield. Now you lower it you can't get the bottom magnets lower than the dash so you won't get a good alignment at the bottom. My top left/right magnets are as high as they can go as they hit the overhead panel, my bottom magnets are as low as they go as they hit the dash. You don't have room to play, in my opinion.
If the Magnashade material is just fabric / vinyl...then why can't it be trimmed / folded / stitched so it's a bit shorter under the new drip edge?
