Ridiculously cheap, ridiculously easy mods to consider

I was tired of cheap camping tables so I purchased a stainless steel table that lays flat on my slide out and I stack chairs on top of it.

I'm hesitant about putting grills/griddles on picnic tables, especially the nice ones. Not the most respectful thing to do, but if it's metal, etc. I'll consider it. A table option certainly is nice.

Not really a mod but spent a lot of quality time using it. This was an addon from Newmar and was only 980.00 what a deal.

I'll never admit I bought two of those. Nope. They are nice but take up a lot of basement space. I carry one with me all the time. Used it twice...maybe?

We put lights in and found there was a plug under the bench seat. We used a switch to turn it off and on. This was researched by someone on another forum and just coped it. I have Ventana LE and the pullouts was requested by the previous owner when he order the coach. Also three 15000BTU AC.

Last one.... This is a game we play. We divide up into teams and put chairs out in diamond shape for bases. We also post someone on the first baseline with a cooler handing out refreshments for base runners. We made several of these and gave them away as presents.

I don't carry the huge hammock anymore I bought nylon ones that are made to hang between trees and use instead.

we did the same with our first motorhome, and then our daughter gifted us a pre-printed set (with some blanks) for Christmas last year

This mod is not only cheap, but it's free, as long as you have a small piece of scrap plywood.

In front of my generator, there is an ample amount of space that is screaming for someone to store something in. I took a piece of scrap 3/4" plywood and cut it to fit into that space. There is a square factory support that is perfect for the plywood to mount to, and there is already a factory brace on each side that keeps your stuff from slipping out the side.

Now I can store my cleaning supplies without taking up space in the basement.

Didn't seem to make any difference at all. I wouldn't have expected it to though, as it's open on the bottom, top and other 3 sides.

One more small length of plywood between a couple of braces at the top of the bonnet and now there is a shelf to store more stuff. OK, so it's not beautiful (yet) but it sure opened up a lot of space in the storage basement.

Not a mod, but something that will ease the horrible noise that comes from open/closing these doors.

If you have these between the salon and the bedroom, then you've probably found they can be pretty noisy to open/close. Especially on some of our older coaches. Silicone is NOT the answer, it only drips down on the floor and makes a slippery mess. Instead, take a candle and rub it around so that wax gets in the grove, on the rollers, and especially the metal brackets that the pin snaps into that holds the doors open/closed.

Run the doors back and forth a few times and you'll find they operate smoother and quieter. Or as my redneck friend used to say, "much more better. . . "
