What ways have RVers found to be most effective for rodent control? Poison works the best but also kills non-target species. Rodent contraceptive does not seem to work. Traps are insufficient, and I'm not around enough to maintain them. Moth balls do work but the smell makes affected areas uninhabitable. Irish Spring soap does not work. they just chew on it. If a non-wet area steel wool works well since rodents won’t chew it to get through.
