Route 11

Greetings. We are new to this forum and are returning to RVing after a ten year break. We recently purchased a motor home and are planning our first big adventure for the fall to Memphis. Has anyone had experience taking Route 11 and avoiding I81? We had a nice timing driving to Fla last year and took the scenic roads when we could and tried to avoid I95 when possible. Route 11 seems to fit the bill. Any pros or cons? Thanks for the insight!

Where are you starting this adventure? I’m guessing Upstate NY. I don’t have any route info for you but we always stayed at the AgriCenter when visiting Memphis. There aren’t many (or any) decent RV parks around central Memphis, but the Agricenter is good and TomSawyers across the river looks good although I haven’t stayed there yet.
