When traveling with guests running the gen for a/c is the only way to keep comfortable. Same with propane when it is cold out.
 
We run ours all the time so we can have the house A/C. No problems in 3 years.

There is only one way to find out start it and start rolling. Been running them for 40 years and dont plan to stop now. Have run two, one on the coach and one in the boat charging batteries going to the next fishing spot. Just so you know I have yet to see a sales person or any other person at any RV dealership own or use a RV. They dont have a clue but can tell you exactly what to do. I learn by doing. If I mess up thats education you cant buy, education is priceless.
