Running Generator

Hello,

I am reading that it is ok to run a generator while driving but I also read that it is not.
We have a 2007 Fair Winds Majestic with Onan Cummings 4000 generator.

Great question. It’s on the rear driver side. I circled it in this picture.

I've driven thousands of miles while using the generator. BTW, I've never heard it's not ok to run the generator, and in my opinion,
it's safer to use it while moving rather than being stationary.

Thank you for your input. I just wanted to check. This is our first RV and don’t want to mess anything up.

Sometimes when traveling in low temps I run my furnace. Works well but I don't pull into gas stations with it on.
