You know me, follow your GPS, don't second guess it. It is smarter than you! So tomorrow I will be testing out my HWH Active Air floaties to take the optimal route as suggested by RV Trip Wizard's pre-departure email.

I want to thank everyone that PM'd me yesterday and checked on me. Well, no one did, but I always wanted to say that. However, I made it safely, I left early for my ocean crossing at about 5 AM. It was foggy but I had a good course provided by my provider so I proceeded. It was slow going at about 2 knots I'm guessing due to having 60K miles on my tires. I think if I had fresh tires I could have probably gotten a good 5 knots. I heard the lighthouses so I responded with my air horn, it seemed to work well as I didn't have any collisions along the way. However, it was odd I had about 20 boats following me when I docked on the east side. Hmmm. Well, I made it to Hearthside Grove, all is well.

Did the undercoating hold up well? Any notable water intrusions?
I assume the fog didn’t lend itself to any good pics. Maybe next time!

I forgot to ask, is Lake Michigan fresh or salt water. I have cleanup to do :)

I hear it depends on what you call salt water!!! The Colorado could be called salt water in southern az. So yes clean it good
