well, what are your requirements for a flat tow vehicle? Many vehicles are flat towable. Practically all 4WD vehicles with a 2-speed transfer case are flat towable. Many FWD manual transmissions are flat towable. With so many choices, it’s better to think about your vehicle needs to narrow down the options.

I think it will be hard to find a flat towable vehicle that comes with the tow bar. Most people who get rid of their tow vehicles trade them in or sell them privately but keep the tow bar because it’s likely to work on their next vehicle with just a new baseplate.

also, I’d be weary of trusting a used tow bar. You never know how the person before you treated it and what they did with it and if they are getting rid of it, the big question is why, especially if they are keeping their coach.

Tow bars these days also aren’t really made to last much more than about 5-10 years.

so tell us your vehicle needs and we can probably come up with good recommendations to fit them
