Safe on roof?

2022 FR Wildcat 5th wheel.
Should it be safe to walk on the roof? I like to sweep off the slide outs before closing.

No ladder on the back. I do have a ladder I lean on a side but I need to move it several times to clean the 3 slide outs.

I haven’t been onto it because it feels squishy to touch.

No ladder on the back means no- you shouldn't walk on the roof. We have a WORX blower and an aluminum ladder to clean off the slides. Some people have awnings that come out with their slides, but we didn't want them. They sag and hold water.

After seeing what kind of rv you have, I'm really surprised that it doesn't have a ladder. What does FR have to say?

FR said they stopped putting the lasers on due to Covid. Supply chain issue. Couldn’t get a straight answer about walking up there. Just said it’s not recommended.

When we had the AC unit serviced, I used 3 pieces of 3 ft x 3 ft x 1/2" plywood to stand and work on. I moved them around as needed. I believe this spread any weight over a larger area and prevented shoes from scuffing or damaging the roof material.
