Well, it's official. We sold the Dutch Star — GUS, to us — and the new owners pulled out this morning to start their own adventures.
Bittersweet is about the only word that fits. So many miles, so many campgrounds, so many mornings with coffee and the slides out.
The miles were only half of it. We met so many great people out there — a lot of them folks who started as the neighbors in the next site over and have become dear friends — and we got to see so much of this gorgeous country we call home. That's what we'll carry with us.
This forum made ownership a whole lot easier and a whole lot more fun. I'm not going anywhere — still plan to hang around and help where I can.
