We are traveling in a 34 foot class A, and heading from Redding Ca to San diego and wondreing whats the best route to take. Thanks
 
There may be many responses that give you options for Freeways less traveled, but the truth is these days they are ALL crowded. IMHO you just get on the I-5 and go South until you reach San Diego. Timing will be your gauge for traffic. Certainly you'll break it up into at least two days...if you have the time make it three 😉 Travel the Southern section on a Sat or Sun early morning to optimize traffic. If you need a place to Boondock on night one try Harris Ranch. Great parking lot (with security) and of course great food! Have fun and safe travels. Blessings
