Has anyone stayed at the San Padre Island South KOA?

You thoughts would be appreciated.

We are thinking of going for a launch of the Starship from Boca Chica. Not the first launch on this Thursday, a mob scene, but a subsequent one.

Went through the KOA on the way to a pier and restaurant (that since burned down) that was behind the KOA. Very very tight spaces. DW and I would not have interest staying there. We stay at Tropical Trails just north east of Brownsville when in the area.

t was beautiful! Just be careful where you drive. If you stay on the dark colored sand you will be okay but if you stray, you will get stuck.

Thanks for the pics. We are not that brave to take the DSDP on the beach. Looks great though. We are still discussing options. Maybe next spring.

Maybe Jetstream in Brownsville, TX. Close to both San Padre Island and Boca Chica.
