I know there are a few that have purchased the protective cover for the 1.5 in hose, please provide part # and source.

The 1.5” is ID, not OD, right?

i mean the 1.5” is the ID of the Sanicon hose...

You will also want some of this heat shrink tubing to lock the ends in place.

Hey Bill and Lisa! It is so much easier to get it directly from Theford. SKU: 97613. I called them complaining about all the pinholes and why aren't they providing the sleeve to Newmar like they do to Entegra. Last year I went through 3 hoses. They ended up sending me the hose with the sleeve already on it at no cost. The part no. 97613 is for the sleeve only. They are really nice and easy to work with.

I called while I was at Newmar in October and thetford sent me a hose with cover installed for free.

I spoke with Thetford and after pleading my case that hose wouldn’t last long without the sleeve, they are sending me one free? of charge.

Received my protective cover yesterday and it had the hose in it. Now I have some extra length if needed and I don’t have to Fight putting the cover on?

Definitely call them up and IMHO, be miffed that they provide the hose with the sleeve to Entegra and not Newmar. Perhaps a change will be made the more they get direct complaints from Newmar owners of the hose not lasting due to pinholes. Looks like Red Baron got one too with a simple call. ? I'm guessing there is plenty more Thetford good will to go around.
