Satellite dish for TV

Hello my name is Willy, I live in Goleta Ca. Recently purchased a 2023 Tiffin Wayfarer RW, we love the rv it offers us more room that the class B Roadtrek we had for 6 years. My question is about getting service on the TV. There is what looks like an antenna or dish of some sort on the roof, if so we do not have service of any sort any way. If this is not a dish is a satellite dish the best option for service on the road ?.
What do other group members have ?

We removed our dish. We get what we want from the internet or over the air if it's available.

IMHO, unless you're a power user, using cell phone hot spot is a great way to go.
( I have unlimited data and hot spot data to 30Gig without throttle, but never have been throttled! $40/mo)
Not that I know anything about it, but I;'m led to believe the ultimate, now-a-days, is Starlink.
That said, Amazon is closing in on it with a new satellite service very soon.
