Has anyone removed the driver and passenger seats from. 2023 Nexus Triumph on the International MV chassis? I plan to add Dynomat heat and sound barrier but noticed on the passenger side the fuel tank prevents access to the bottom side of the floor. I’m interested to know if the bolts are threaded into tapped holes in the floor, or is there a nut on bottom side of the floor? I sure hope not as I see no way to get to it! My concern is removing the bolt, losing the nut, and not being able to reinstall the seat. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

How is the driver seat fastened, if you can access that location I would think both seats are fastened the same way. I am curious as I will be replacing our theater seats next week and I don’t think they will fit thru the house door. Plan was to remove passenger seat…..you may have just caused me to rethink it.

I have a 2021 Nexus Ghost.

When we replaced our jack knife with recliners in our class c the recliners came in two pieces - base and back.

Took each piece through the door and assembled on the inside of coach.

That’s exactly how it should work, our house door is only 24 inches wide…..the instructions say 26 inch door needed. I think I can twist the arm in first and it will be good. The passenger door would be the last option. I might even resort to bacon grease 😂😂 before removing passenger seat.

Thanks for the reply

The d and p seats should be bolted from above to a welded in "nut" There should be no reason its a "loose" nut below. All should be done from above.

Thank you for the response. That’s what I was hoping to hear. This should make for an easy installation of the Dynamat which should greatly reduce the excessive heat and noise in the cab. Thanks again!

Prep the surface and clean it well prior to the dynamat. I used to have a heavy duty 6" roller and some smaller ones for smaller areas. Make sure to roll it a few times to bond well. It will make a huge difference
