So funny, I JUST posted a big article on some new stuff called RV DIGEST-IT and it friggin works INSANELY GOOD...as in NO smell even in HOT weather!! I had a 40% full black/gray tank sitting for over a month, along with some waste water in the hose...and I just dumped it and it was amazingly clean smelling.
You can count me out in the HAPPY CAMPER camp...that stuff'll KILL YA when inhaled!! No matter how careful I was, that stuff would find it's way into my lungs. I just tossed mine out.
