Well after nearly 4 years of full time travel one of the 3 glass door panels for our shower broke. (Actually shattered).

The first Mobil repair company I contacted said a new door (all 3 panels) would cost $700.00 plus $350.00 shipping plus install. !!! We put up a spring rod and curtain.

I’m not against using a curtain but wondering what others have done for a more permanent but solid door(s) replacement.

You could take the entire door to a glass co. and they should be able to replace the panel.

I broke our shower door and I went to a glass company with a picture of the door glass and measurements. They order me the glass and I installed it. The glass cost me $225. I opted for the clear glass oer he teardrop glas as it reduced the cost by half.

Thanks for all the help. Ordered a retractable door. Should arrive Tuesday.

Btw I was told about a company I had not heard of. Recpro. Very competitive pricing with lots of personable assistance.

I would not replace the glass with anything that was not tempered glass.

Imagine slipping on the shower floor and the glass didn't shatter into a thousand pieces.
