Question Shower leak

I have a Thor Vegas 2020. The connector for the shower hose has a tiny hole at the top. Water leaks from this hole when the water pump is on. Why does this hole exist? Some sort of pressure release? Should water bubble up through the hole when the water pump is running.
 
Check my post had same issues its part of the water saver apparatus. Put a screw in it with Teflon tape to seal it up. You may want to take it apart and remove the plastic water saver hole and little rubber gasket.
