I have a 2008 Fleetwood providence. The Engine control modual was just replaced. Now the mega slide will not work. On this model the engine must be running when extending/retracting slides. Is it possible that the slide is one of the parameters of the ECM (engine control modual).

Are you sure the engine has to be running for the slide to operate? My 2006 Holiday Rambler (both HR and Fleetwood were built by Monaco back then) has to have the engine OFF before the slide will work. It's a safety thing. Theoretically if the engine is running and the slide will work, someone could put the slide out as you drove down the road. This is why the slide should NOT work with the engine running. Mine has to be plugged in, or the generator running to be able to put the slide in or out.
