Look for a local electrical supply house or a place that rebuilds alternators. Most of the times they will rebuild electric motors or will be able to point you in the right direction.

Is it possible to rebuild a slide motor?
"Possible?" Probably, but unless it is something you can't get a replacement for, I would guess it would be more expensive and more of a hassle than just buying a new motor.

Good luck.
