Slide out awning

I was wondering , when the slide out goes out and pulls the awning with it, should the awning stay tight or is sagging normal ?

I was wondering , when the slide out goes out and pulls the awning with it, should the awning stay tight or is sagging normal ?

Should stay pretty tight. Ours sags a little and does hold a little water, but flows off the ends when it retracts.
