Took a quick run last night to fill up with fuel for our upcoming trip and noticed that the slide lock arms on my dinette slide were making more racket than normal.
Took a look while the tank was filling and found this silver nut had backed off a bit. I just finger tightened it back up against the stop nut and it seemed to quiet down. My question is what does this nut actually do and how do I verify that it is back in the correct position? I have no clue if the threaded rod had backed out from the stop nut. I've sent this to Newmar's baystar email but thought I'd ask here as well.
