Hubby got a smallish woodburning piazza oven for his birthday folded down it will fit in the van (sorta) so it won't go often, and it is wood burning so not during a burn ban. I love fresh made pizza so maybe when we are out with friends or something. It's about the size of a smallish dog crate.
Anyone else this crazy? Hubby knows I'm nuts...

OONI Pizza. Dressed up Marinara Pizza... Just one more lifelong quest to make a better Pizza with each attempt... It will never be perfect...just a tiny step closer... Sometimes, not.

Wow, Chugs! That is exquisite!

If you are ever in Cocoa Beach...Mangia & Bevi make a wonderful Napoletana Marinara Pizza. I'm sure all of their Pizza's are wonderful. If I reach a true counterfeit of their Pizza...I'll feel like I have truly accomplished something.

Where's the hatch green chili @Chuggs? :)

Rationing... But grilled Jalapeños might be making a resurgence.

I need to weld together a roasting drum 😀

I am going to try to make a pizza in my Ninja Pro. I just purchased it and have not used it yet. I do make them in our Blackstone grill / griddle and they are awesome

I’d recommend just cheese - you may find posts on here that had pepperoni flying around inside the Ninja 😊

It seems there are some places that are changing thier guidance. An example is the Albequerque International Balloon Fiesta. Back in 2017...we notice that ONLY propane grills and such were allowed. No fire pits... We tried desperately to purchase the Propane adapter for our Ooni 3. Ooni 3 was one of the very original wood pellet Pizza Ovens. We signed up for the 2026 Balloon Fiesta...and I now see they do allow wood pellet devices, in addition to propane. They specify a height above ground... but it's progress. Still no fire pits. I found managing the pellet fire a difficult task to keep an even heat level. Eventually, the propane adapter made it to America...and we added that. Made it easier. But the Koda 16 caught my eye. The Ooni 3 fits in a storage compartment easier...but the Koda 16 has a bit more cooking surface and a large L shaped burner. Anyway...fun to make Pizza when traveling...but it's also fun to find local establishments for a go at thier Pizza's...mixed success, but always fun!!
