File this in the "small world" catagory. Either that or "strange things that happen". But my son's friends boss bought a 2002 Mercedes Benz S500 which they had to drive to West Virginia to pick up. I don't know the details of what they paid but hopefully not much as it looks like it was not taken care of well. But while they were digging through the glove compartment, they found the registration from 2006 and guess what? It was my car! Or it was back then anyway.
I bought this car brand new from the Mercedes Benz dealership in Pensacola way back in 2002. And 24 years later, it's come full circle and is back! As a side note, it didn't have black rims on it when it was mine. Wonder what this cars life was like after it left my care?
This care was so cool back then and was the first car I owned that had a GPS. I remember there was a CD player in the trunk and it took something along the lines of 8 Disks to store the maps on. Was serious state of the arts stuff 24 years ago.
