Hi. I am a new 2025 Intech Sol Dusk owner since January of this year. We've been in it full-time at various locations in California since then, and from the beginning, we've had really immediate and excessive ice build-up inside and on the outside of the freezer in the fridge. We don't keep the freezer very full (just ice tray and one bag of frozen veggies), and the fridge is moderately full. The ice particularly builds up in the exterior vents on the right side. I melt it with hot water and get the ice out, and it's back within 24-48 hours.

Anyone else had this experience or tips?

Thanks!

Inside the fridge, the freezer sits on the upper left surrounded by a metal frame with the unit filling about half the width of the upper area of the fridge. In the metal frame on the right (whose outer side is visible when looking into the fridge), there are multiple rows and columns of visible cutout vents that serve to let the cold air circulate. These vents get almost completely filled with very hard ice within 24 hours of clearing them completely.

Thanks. I had checked that. It's a tight seal, and the InTech is a new 2025 with no owner prior to us, so I'm thinking I need to reach out to the fridge manufacturer in Italy.

Most of the time it's the seal. Sometimes the hinges are missaligned. Some have had bran new fridges with Bent doors.

Inspect closely. Air is coming in from somewhere.
