Depends on what you mean by 'solar plug' and where exactly it goes. I've seen 'solar prep' to mean an SAE connector that connects to your house battery, I've also seem some with solar prep that includes a charge controller.
The type of portable solar you can plug in will depend on which you have. If you have a charge controller, then in theory you can plug a portable solar panel in and be good to go. If it doesn't have a charge controller, you'll either need to add one or buy a portable solar panel that includes a charge controller.
That's all assuming the wiring is correct, sometimes things don't go right in the RV world so I would recommend verifying everything before plugging anything in.
