How To Southwind Jacks won't fully Retract

2004 Southwind rear Jack won't fully retract. Any suggestions?

Check the fluid level in the unit. It is under the motorhome

I'd extend them, go under, wipe the cylinder(s) then liberally spray with silicon. ( not WD-40 )

The same thing happened to me. Low fluid in unit under coach.

That's how it started for me but I could just hit retract and it would go back up all the way but slowly start to drop again. Ultimately, I had to replace the jack as they're not really meant to be rebuilt although they can be if you can find someone to do it. It shouldn't be losing fluid.
