has anyone found a less expensive but still very strong and durable spare tire mount and who did you have do it.?
Our local dealer wants $1600 for the mount itself for our Play SRT.
 
I made one up for a previous trailer out of a scrap aluminum sq tube i got fron a scrap yard and bolts. Bolted to the rear bumper with appropriate sized bolts to mount the tire. All in about 45 bucks. Amazon has a bunch of bolt on carriers too.
